Painting for me feels like entering the most sacred, intimate inner space. It is my practice.
Life creates a situation in the form of painting and my whole entire body responds spontaneously, fully engaged, involved in the moment yet on the inside; there is an ancient stillness that is constantly calling me home.
I call this space: relaxed intensity and the realm of true creativity.

Zen zen zen
Zong zing zen
Tic toc ten...
Ten ten ten
The ten bulls of zen
I see them, I read them, I taste them
I throw them in the garbage of zen
Washing my mouth
Spitting this zen
Using it to clean the boot
That kicks my zen ass
